Introduction: The Power of Facebook for Client Acquisition
Why Facebook Works: A Proven Track Record
For years, Facebook has been the cornerstone of our success, driving 99% of our client acquisitions. Why? Because we’ve mastered the strategy. Instead of chasing every platform, we’ve focused on what works—and it’s paid off.
Facebook Groups, in particular, have been game-changers. They allow us to connect with thousands of ideal clients in one place, far outpacing the reach of individual messages. It’s the ultimate accelerator for sales—putting us directly in front of a ready-to-engage audience.
Once our team has fully optimized and mastered this proven approach, we’ll have the expertise and confidence to replicate it across other platforms. But for now, we’re doubling down on what drives results.
The Challenges with Instagram and LinkedIn: Lessons from Experience
This insight comes straight from experience. Over the years, we’ve tested the waters on both LinkedIn and Instagram—only to find they simply aren’t the right fit for us.
In the early days of our publishing company, we ran an extensive LinkedIn campaign, sending over 5,000 messages. While the responses poured in, they revealed a critical insight: LinkedIn’s audience wasn’t aligned with our ideal client profile. Many respondents were corporate employees secretly building side businesses. While they appreciated our services and could afford them, they were hesitant to take action, prioritizing job security and benefits. On the other hand, online entrepreneurs who responded often fell outside our target—either too early in their journey or well beyond the sweet spot we serve.
As for Instagram, it’s been equally unfruitful. Neither we nor our book partners and publishing graduates have found success generating clients on the platform. The demographic skews younger than our average client, who tends to be around 45 years old and beyond the reach of Instagram’s typical audience.
This experience has solidified our focus on platforms that deliver real results, ensuring our energy goes where it matters most.
